Patsy Gallian has been a member of the Women’s Empowerment Collaborative Inc. for many years. As a female leader in her industry, she always seeks ways in which she can help other “lady leaders” achieve success. The group’s purpose is to bring together women from all industries to network and collaborate on projects to achieve their highest potential. Traveling has always been a passion of Patsy Gallian. She most frequently travels with her husband who is a retired military veteran. For her travel is a way to slow down, relax and take a break from the constant face-paced environment at work. One of Patsy’s favorite vacation to date was her family trip to the Grand Canyon. They planned an unconventional route and began their road trip in Washington State and finished their vacation in Arizona with a day spent exploring one of the natural wonders of the world. Patsy Gallian loves discovering new pockets of the United States that she adores so she can plan future trips to enjoy the destinations again and again. Seeing new places and discovering new attractions/events to see, whether it be the Grand Canyon, national parks, interesting events or cities that have tons of charm are the aspects of travel she finds the most intriguing and exhilarating. By sharing these experiences with the ones she loves she can relive her travel adventures and inspire others to travel somewhere, they have always wanted to go. Patsy’s other favorite travel destinations include New Orleans and Saint Augustine, Florida. She has also traveled to distant places like Valencia, Spain and Cartagena, Colombia. Dogs have long been man’s best friend and have been incorporated into families around the globe for millennia. Patsy Gallian recently adopted a furry bundle of joy she named Bella. Bella is a four-month-old French Bulldog (aka Frenchie) who loves to snuggle and play. While the breed does tend to be prone to developing certain illnesses, Patsy makes it a point to never miss a visit to the vet, stays on top of vaccinations, and keeps Bella as happy and healthy as a well-loved dog can be. In addition to travel, family and her fur family, Patsy Gallian loves watching sports and restoring antique furniture. She is a lifelong New Orleans Saints fans and was over the moon when they won the Superbowl in 2010 for the 2009 season. With over 20 players in the NFL Hall of Fame and many divisional championships under their belts, the Saints are considered one of the best in the league and are an excellent team to be a fan of due to the efforts of many team members to give back to their community. In her spare time, Patsy loves the challenge of restoring antique furniture to its former glory. She loves the history of the furniture she finds and picking out the perfect stain or accent to add to create a new piece out of the old.
